Jeremy L. Danson, O.D.

Dr. Danson grew up in Austin, TX and also attended high school in Llano, TX before attending Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1999. Dr. Danson is a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He joined Burnet Eye Care in 1999 working 2 days a week and started practicing full-time in 2003, and he has been the Owner of Burnet Eye Care since 2007.
Dr. Danson has been a member of the Burnet Chapter of Rotary International since 2003. He has served as a member of the Board and President of the club in the past. Through the Club, he enjoys serving local communities through various volunteer projects benefiting the local Boys and Girls Clubs, Salvation Army, Burnet High School graduating seniors, and other non-profit organizations. He is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. And, he is a member of Burnet and Llano Chambers of Commerce. |
Dr. Danson enjoys spending time with his 2 children. He also likes canoeing and kayaking local rivers and lakes. He has competed in the Texas Water Safari, a 260-mile non-stop canoe race along the San Marcos and Guadalupe rivers to the Gulf of Mexico.

AnnMarie started working at Burnet Eye Care as a Front Desk Receptionist in 2023. In 2024 she transferred to the Optical department working at Burnet and has since became the Optical Manager. Annmarie handles All Things Glasses! From helping you frame style to making sure you have all the bells and whistles you are wanting on your new face jewlery.

Emily came to Burnet Eye Care with little to no Knowledge of Eye Health but she was eager to learn and has come to Truly Enjoy helping our community. She began as an Ophthalmic Technician in 2018 and has since taken over the role of Office Manager. Now with over 7 years of experience in this field She hopes to continue Growing and Helping out each and everyone of our patients!
